Tucked into a steep hillside close to its top under the ruins of the village chateau, La Tour is a secluded hideaway that is simply perfect for anyone looking to relax and let time pass slowly by.

La Tour is a simple little property that is rich in charm and character. It comprises an entrance hall, kitchenette & downstairs shower, living room leading to the balcony and then upstairs to the bedroom which has an open bath-tub and walk-in closet off it. The bedroom is bright and spacious and the living room is cool and cosy. Both have working fireplaces.

La Tour is truly unique and offers a most tranquil setting to ponder life, write, paint or simply unwind from a hectic schedule. It is neither basic nor luxurious but it is comfortable and relaxing, with plenty of room for two people and a pull out couch for anyone who comes for dinner but perhaps isn’t quite in a condition to negotiate those steep, windy mountain roads, home.

La Tour gives its guests the opportunity to really savour living the simple life.

While there is plenty to do in the village and the area at large, the routine of life seems so much more relaxed and a day can easily pass simply by, with a trip to the boulangerie for a fresh baguette, followed by a relaxing read on the balcony and ending with a short walk down the hill for dinner at la chasseur.

But if that’s not enough for you then depending on what time of year you visit you can find yourself skiing in less than two hours and on the beach in less than one…or both!
